In the following we share the legal basis of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), on the basis of which we process the personal data. For users from the scope of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), i.e. the EU and the EEC, the following applies, unless the legal basis is mentioned in the data protection declaration:

The legal basis for obtaining consent is Article 6 (1) (a) and Article 7 GDPR.
The legal basis for processing in order to fulfill our services and carry out contractual measures as well as answering inquiries is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
The legal basis for processing in order to fulfill our legal obligations is Article 6 (1) lit. c GDPR.

National data protection regulations in Germany:

In addition to the data protection regulations of the General Data Protection Regulation, national data protection regulations apply in Germany. This includes in particular the law on the protection against misuse of personal data during data processing (Federal Data Protection Act – BDSG). In particular, the BDSG contains special regulations on the right to information, the right to erasure, the right of objection, the processing of special categories of personal data, processing for other purposes and transmission as well as automated decision-making in individual cases, including profiling. It also regulates data processing for the purposes of the employment relationship (Section 26 BDSG), in particular with regard to the establishment, implementation or termination of employment relationships and the consent of employees. Note on data transfer to the USA

Tools from companies based in the USA are integrated on our website. When these tools are active, your personal data can be passed on to the US servers of the respective companies. We would like to point out that the USA is not a safe third country within the meaning of EU data protection law. US companies are obliged to disclose personal data to security authorities without you as the person concerned being able to take legal action against this. In addition, we process additional data of our customers, interested parties and business partners for the purpose of providing contractual services, service and customer care.

This data is contract data, e.g. Subject matter of the contract, term and customer history. Secondly, we process payment data such as Bank details and payment history.

EXTERNAL PAYMENT SERVICES

We accept payments with PayPal. During payment processing, some of your data will be passed on to PayPal. Only necessary information for the processing or execution of the payment is passed on, such as total purchase price and payment information.

In the context of the fulfillment of contracts, we use the payment service providers on the basis of the legal requirements. In addition, we use external payment service providers on the basis of our legitimate interests acc. Art. 6 par. 1 lit. f. GDPR in order to offer our users effective and secure payment options.

Processing data of payment service providers

The data processed by the payment service providers include inventory data, such as the name and address, bank data, such as Account numbers or credit card numbers, passwords, TANs and checksums as well as the contract, sums and recipient-related information. The information is required to carry out the transactions.

DHowever, the data entered will only be processed and stored by the payment service providers. This means that we do not receive any account or credit card-related information, but only information with confirmation or negative information about the payment. The data may be transmitted by the payment service providers to credit reference agencies. This transmission is for the purpose of identity and credit checks. For this purpose, we refer to the terms and conditions and data protection information of the payment service providers.
