Technical
Direct connection via CAN Bus to the VSC2-Controller. The system reads and displays all NMEA 2000 data including depth, speed, wind, GPS, and more.
Direct connection to the VSC2-Controller. NMEA 0183 instruments can be easily integrated into the VisuShip system via RS232.
NMEA 0183 is an older standard with serial point-to-point connections. NMEA 2000 is based on CAN bus technology and enables a network where all devices communicate simultaneously. VisuShip supports both standards.
Yes, engine and generator data can be monitored via NMEA 2000 or direct CAN Bus connection, depending on your equipment manufacturer.
A GPS antenna is included in the VisuShip package and connects to the LTE router — for position tracking, voyage history, and geofence alerts.
